Joining a workshop is always a good idea.
Even better when at first you feel like you won't be able to do it,...
but in the end all the stars rearange themselves and your faith gives you a go.
And the you get the chance to try something new,
unusual,
something you used to do when you were little
or something you found so simple but never figured out to do yourself.
And that was the appeal of this workshop.
After the first day, I felt misurable,
I was expecting something more than what was done.
I have to admit, it wasn't the people who organised it, but me.
I guess that was the way it had to be, since the next day we rocked it all.
I got the chance to do linocut once again, go back to the past and carry out an action which linked to my memories.
And it was so worth it!
It did not feel the same as when I was little, but it had a distinct positive feel to it.

The linocut is inspired by one of my analogue photos I have taken on my travels...
but it somewhat links to me.
It is the bike, the road, the obstacle, the heading forward an aim that is there.
And cycling home after the workshop just framed it all.
I shall see what will come out from my next messing about!
It pushed me forward and inspired me to act!
