Thank god that at least the weather makes you smile.
The snowflakes covering everything up, and you knowing it is not far from that evening, on which you will enjoy the glow of the warm creamy lights, the sparkles, the wrapping paper and the cracking of the wood in the fire place.
Just manage the discipline you are taking part in and soon you will have time to enjoy.
